Perfect Pairing | Some Pieces Look Better Worn Together

Long gone are the days of matchy shoes and bags – the days when those were actually made to be bought as a set! Luckily for us, fashion now allows us to be a lot more creative giving us more options to put pieces together. As long as we make the right choices that is.

  • Combine Textures: Patent boots worn with patent tote is a lot of patent for example, but if we mix a high – gloss shoe with a plush velvet bag on the other hand, now that is just the right amount of shine!

  • Put Prints with Solids : Don’t double up on a load of pattern (but if you are able to do so – it did get quite fashionable), but that does not mean you should avoid or shy away from color. For example, leopards look absolutely gorgeous when paired with red!

The Daring Mix

The Safer Mixes

  • Mix Metallic with Matte: Shimmery Silver for example, looks sleek with black, while bronze or gold is a good mix with brown.

About AmOoNa

By no means do I ever try to pretend I know all there is about fashion, but isn’t that the beauty of it? Inspirations come to me daily, from people, colors, moods, photography, even children! As Coco Chanel once said “Fashion is everywhere … in the sky…” this is how i choose to live my life. We don’t need to be millionaires, we don’t need to always have the latest and most luxurious brands, but we will always need to feel beautiful. I believe in simplicity even with my most extravagant dress on. Less is sometimes more in my fashion eye. I love funky, I love colors, I love elegance, and I love class. Fashion is not something I do, it has become a part of who I am. This is me, and my life in the fashion lane…
