NYFW: L’Wren Scott’s Fall 2012 Collection

L’Wren Scott‘s “Tea Time” collection for Fall 2012 looked like it was inspired by 20th century England. Dresses accentuated the model’s curves and hit just below the knee. Scott still managed to add a little structure by adding drapes or ruffles to the necklines. Fabrics, now those were a different story – romantic, rich, and oh so luxe .I really loved the printed silk, claret velvet, the pony hair, not to forget all that fur!!

There was just the right amount of color, including yellow, olive, berry, and red, to add a bit more personality. “The L’Wren Scott girl is still irreverent and has a hard edge,” said the designer.

Check out the beautiful collection!

The color fusion is so lady like with a 20th century twist

Sexy & Chic

The color, the details, I LOVE THIS !!

The Purple palette is not usually one of my top faves, but here, it glows!

Can we say .. ROYAL!

Beautiful suit alteration

The waist details for a more curve conscious dress

The chiffon with the collar gives this sexy satin dress more elegance and glamour

The florals give an embedded feeling ... subtle sexiness

Satin and Lace .. WOW

Lovely Patterns and the bright fur addition just tops the look

About AmOoNa

By no means do I ever try to pretend I know all there is about fashion, but isn’t that the beauty of it? Inspirations come to me daily, from people, colors, moods, photography, even children! As Coco Chanel once said “Fashion is everywhere … in the sky…” this is how i choose to live my life. We don’t need to be millionaires, we don’t need to always have the latest and most luxurious brands, but we will always need to feel beautiful. I believe in simplicity even with my most extravagant dress on. Less is sometimes more in my fashion eye. I love funky, I love colors, I love elegance, and I love class. Fashion is not something I do, it has become a part of who I am. This is me, and my life in the fashion lane…
