Katharine Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich served as Peter Som‘s inspiration for his Fall 2012 collection. How? Through his inclusion of luxe furs, particularly a teal fur coat over a twill voile pant. The collection included monochromatic outfits with mixing textural and fabric combinations like wool with organza. The tailoring and texture also demonstrated an edge between masculine/ feminine. I Loved the ultra-fitted tops and wrap jackets with their balloon sleeves.

The Main Colors on the runway were: Plum, emerald, ivory, ruby. What seemed to be the key Pieces were the peplum tops. The shoes were also in the spotlight and included two-tone pumps.

I loved this collection as i feel it speaks out to my utmost fashion cravings, I bet all you confident, fashion-loving girls who crave a statement piece will also dig this collection.

Take a look at some of what i think were the best pieces.

About AmOoNa

By no means do I ever try to pretend I know all there is about fashion, but isn’t that the beauty of it? Inspirations come to me daily, from people, colors, moods, photography, even children! As Coco Chanel once said “Fashion is everywhere … in the sky…” this is how i choose to live my life. We don’t need to be millionaires, we don’t need to always have the latest and most luxurious brands, but we will always need to feel beautiful. I believe in simplicity even with my most extravagant dress on. Less is sometimes more in my fashion eye. I love funky, I love colors, I love elegance, and I love class. Fashion is not something I do, it has become a part of who I am. This is me, and my life in the fashion lane…
